VIVRA turns three – and what a year it’s been!
What a year it’s been for the VIVRA brand! We’ve managed to tick so many things off our list this year, with some of the highlights being: taking the VIVRA to the next level in terms of product development; gaining additional press; securing many new stockists across Australia; and the big one… going global with Amazon!
A totally redesigned and improved product
Never being satisfied and always exploring ways to improve on customer experience and product quality, we’ve listened to each and every single piece of feedback from our customers. They wanted the VIVRA to be more stylish, lighter and generally of a higher standard – and that’s exactly what we’ve done with the VIVRA ‘Lite’ range. We also listened (and celebrated) when our customers told us that they love the new design!
But it’s not all work, work, work here at VIVRA HQ. The introduction of the new ‘Lite’ range has led to some very fun and memorable photoshoots with the girls – all the way from wearing camo and warpaint in the bush to experiencing the high life of a flight attendant on a private jet!

On the back of the new and improved range VIVRA was featured in ‘Marie Claire Australia’, ‘Australian Traveller’ (Australia’s top travel magazine) and even globally on the ‘Katy Perry Collections’ Instagram page for VIVRA’s limited edition Katy Perry design, released in 2018.
All the highline press has been fantastic but it’s the real ‘grassroots’ exposure and giving back that Emily and Sarah love. They were able to spread their stories, learnings and inspirations through speaking engagements with the Queensland University of Technology, Clayfield College and ‘The Greenery and Co Communications Agency’ so that other budding businesses can learn the do’s and don’ts of starting a business.
New Australian stockists
From the beginning VIVRA has had interest not just locally in Brisbane but equally across all of Australia. Being a product that’s better understood (and the awesomeness needing to be seen to be believed!) it only made sense that we brought on board ‘brick and mortar’ stockists across this great land of ours. Now stocked in many stores right down the eastern seaboard of Australia, and all the way on the other side in Perth, it’s getting harder and harder to avoid spotting VIVRA’s ‘in the wild’!
Going global with Amazon
The global market was something that Emily and Sarah always had their eye on but timing was key – only after VIVRA was validated and stable in Australia could they turn their attentions to selling in overseas markets.
After considering a number of ways to enter the US market we decided that Amazon was the way to go. To those unfamiliar being listed on Amazon might not seem like a lot of work but we can tell you that, if you want to do it properly with ‘brand registration’, it takes a lot of blood, sweat and tears! There’s a whole host of things that need to be considered, including listing, marketing and logistics but it pays to do it right the first time.
Now, LIVE and selling Emily and Sarah feel truly proud that they have set the foundation and can start to focus on really growing the VIVRA brand in the US.
What’s next you might ask?
Well, the girls have BIG plans for 2020, starting with a new range of printed designs, further expansion into European markets, release of an eco friendly range (watch this space - you won’t expect what’s coming😍) and growth into larger retailers to further spread the VIVRA brand.
